Beta Sigma Pi (PTK)

Beta Sigma Pi is an Honor Society at the College of Western Idaho, we are not a sorority or fraternity.  We are a chapter of Phi Theta Kappa and one of the 25 other chapters in the Rocky Mountain Cascade Region which includes Idaho, Utah, and Oregon.  All together Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society has over 1,300 chapters worldwide.

The mission of Phi Theta Kappa is to recognize academic achievement of college students and to provide opportunities for them to grow as scholars and leaders. Our purpose at the College of Western Idaho is the promotion of scholarship, the development of leadership, the promotion of service, and the cultivation of fellowship among members, faculty, and students.

Everyone is welcome to attend our meetings, social, and volunteer functions.  However, in order to join Phi Theta Kappa and receive the full benefit that membership provides, students need to have an accumulation of at least twelve college credits, a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher, and adhere to the school conduct code.  We invite members each semester, if you meet these qualifications and did not get an invitation please email us.
