The purpose of SkillsUSA is to unite in a common bond without regard to race, sex, religion, creed, or national origin. Students enrolled in class with vocational trade, industrial, technical, and health occupations objectives. We also assist SkillsUSA members in their growth and development, develop leadership abilities through participation in educational, vocational, civic, recreational and social activities. We also work to foster a deep respect for the dignity of work, create enthusiasm for learning, promote high standards in all phases of occupational endeavor including trade ethics, workmanship, scholarship and safety.

Stampede Study Break

College of Western Idaho is teaming up with the Idaho Stampede for CWI Night!  Join the CWI community on Friday, Feb. 28 as the Idaho Stampede take on the Santa Cruz Warriors!  The game starts at 7p.m. and the doors open at 6p.m.  CWI student clubs are selling discounted tickets to the game for $10 and will receive 100 percent of the proceeds.  Support CWI clubs by purchasing your tickets from them!  Don't know a club member?
Title - UROC Harvest Dinner

On December 9, 2013 UROC hosted a Harvest Dinner at the Micron Building for Professional Technical Education. This event allowed clubs to come together to celebrate a successful semester and build relationships. There was an ugly sweater contest, as well as a white elephant exchange. UROC plans to host future events like this and hopes that numbers in attendance will grow.

CWI employees and students joined forces on Saturday (Nov. 15) for the annual Rake Up Boise and Nampa events.

UROC (United Registered Organizations and Clubs) hosted a spooktacular Halloween Party on Friday, Oct. 25th.  This is the third year student organizations have hosted a CWI Halloween bash.  Nearly 20 student organizations participated, sponsoring booths and activities for all ages, including a haunted house, costume contest, pumpkin painting, cookie decorating, crafts and more!
