The purpose of Geography Club is to stimulate interest in geography education and to enable students to further their knowledge of this discipline.

On December 9, 2013 UROC hosted a Harvest Dinner at the Micron Building for Professional Technical Education. This event allowed clubs to come together to celebrate a successful semester and build relationships. There was an ugly sweater contest, as well as a white elephant exchange. UROC plans to host future events like this and hopes that numbers in attendance will grow.

UROC (United Registered Organizations and Clubs) hosted a spooktacular Halloween Party on Friday, Oct. 25th.  This is the third year student organizations have hosted a CWI Halloween bash.  Nearly 20 student organizations participated, sponsoring booths and activities for all ages, including a haunted house, costume contest, pumpkin painting, cookie decorating, crafts and more!

The CWI Street Teams were honored on Wednesday, Sept. 12, with a free Ice Cream Social event in celebration of the What if Campaign Street Team initiative. CWI Speech and Debate, Geography Club, Physics Club, and Art Club were all recognized at the Nampa Campus event for their success in the Street Team contest.

The CWI Street Teams took their movement to the heart of Caldwell this past weekend with both the Geography and Physics Clubs joining in the festivities of the 125th annual Canyon County Fair. The Clubs provided a fun compliment to CWI’s comprehensive presence at the fair this year as the College was a community partner for a number of initiatives.
