Art Club Festival of Arts

Students with the College of Western Idaho Art Club spent the day in creative bliss at the Nampa Festival of Art event August 9 and 10. First thing in the morning, Amanda Richards, Brittany Bishop and, Teresa Gonzalez all gathered in the rose garden at Lakeview Park in Nampa to judge entries for the art contest. After careful deliberation, the team made their choice and joined the crowds enjoying the many local artisan booths throughout the park.
Culinary Club at Canyon County Fair

College of Western Idaho student clubs “Pigged Out on Family Fun” at the Canyon County Fair this past Saturday, July 26. The Art Club started the afternoon by admiring the art on display and judging the craft submissions. Before the heat of the day set in, the 4-H members and their animals competed for best in show; the Street Team showed up at the right time with CWI fans to cool them off while they waited for results.

CWI Street Teams are MOO-ving onto the Canyon County Fair scene Saturday, July 26! We’ve been talking to people across Ada County about attending the College of Western Idaho this fall, and now Canyon County it is your turn! CWI is once again proud to be sponsoring the Fair Community Stage and on Saturday the Street Teams will be looking to meet fair-goers and share some CWI fun! Find our student teams in bright t-shirts to get your CWI gear or look for the CWI booth near the grandstand...

Students with the College of Western Idaho (CWI) Culinary Arts Club enjoyed a memorable night at the ball park on Thursday (July 10). From start to finish the CWI Street Team was taking in all aspects of the game. CWI student Skyler Vande Vooren threw out the first pitch and the fun was only starting there. Laurie Vande Vooren joined him in the dugout for some photos with the players. On the way to the stands, they met Boise Hawks’ mascot Humphrey.
