Program Overview

In this two-year Associate of Science program, you will have the opportunity to study life sciences, including cellular and molecular processes, organism physiology, biochemistry, botany, genetics, and many other natural sciences. A biology degree is an essential base for a variety of advanced degrees and career paths. College of Western Idaho (CWI) offers you the chance to choose from multiple focus areas—general biology, healthcare, or natural resources—which allows you to customize this biology degree toward your goal. So whether it’s biochemistry, zoology, pre-med, radiology, or something else, the CWI Biology program is a great place to start.

It is recommended that you enroll in a mathematics course during your first term and continuing to take math until you’ve met the requirements of your degree plan.
