Basic Skills Improvement

Improve your Math, Reading, and Writing skills at the College of Western Idaho (CWI). The Adult Basic Education (ABE) basic skills improvement program is a free program dedicated to providing opportunities to learn basic academic and English language skills needed to meet your goals in the workplace and the community.

Steps to Get Started in Classes

1. Attend an ABE Orientation and Assess Basic Skills*
2. Meet with an ABE advisor
3. Begin coursework
